Magnesia San Pellegrino
In 1906 the pharmacist Nestor Delù with colleague Armando Provera made the "Magnesia Prödel" (name due to the association of the names of the two inventors), remedy for stomach acid and other small gastrointestinal disorders. The product was an instant success and the brand, Magnesia San Pellegrino was born in the post war period when Enzo Granelli, owner of San Pellegrino Terme and Water, buys and renames the successful formulation.
Magnesia San Pellegrino contains the active substance magnesium hydroxide and is a laxative that stimulates activity in the large intestine as well as the secretion of water and mineral salts in the digestive tract. Magnesia San Pellegrino is used for the short-term treatment of constipation as well as mild digestive complaints, such as hyperacidity or flatulence.
This is an authorised medicinal product. Seek advice from a specialist and read the package leaflet.
