Our Story

Arquilla Bulk Trading Pty Ltd was established by Costantino Arquilla and commenced operations in 1977.

The company has enjoyed great growth over the last 30 years and today, led by Costantino's son, Peter, Arquilla is one of Australia's most successful importers of fine food and beverages. Indeed, as a mark of its standing, in 1996 Arquilla was awarded the “Azienda Italia Award of Excellence” by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for outstanding contribution to Italian/Australian economic relationships.

Arquilla distributes a wide range of food and beverage products most with a distinctly Italian flavour. They include canned tomatoes and related tomato products, olive oil and extra virgin olive oil, vinegars, cheese, pickled vegetables, fish, pasta, biscuits and beverages.
In 2018, Arquilla was purchased by Bon Food Pty Ltd, a Melbourne based company with a similarly strong history of supplying food and beverage products to the Australian market, with a focus on promoting the Mediterranean diet. 

Our customers include retail outlets such as gourmet delicatessens, independent supermarkets, chain stores, restaurants, liquor stores, fruit vendors and function houses across all Sydney Metropolitan area, Wollongong, Canberra, Newcastle and Griffith.
